I warned you that after the impeachment trial, the media would latch onto any outlier poll that claimed Trump’s approval rating is magically way up. Sure enough, the media is hawking a Gallup poll that has Trump up a laughable 5 points, while ignoring polls that say the opposite.
If you know how to read a polling average, you know that Trump’s approval rating hasn’t budged. It’s still in the same lousy place it’s been for a couple years now – which is boring. So the media keeps using outlier polls to create the false appearance of movement, up and down.
The media has decided that the best way to get ratings over the next few weeks is to scare you into believing that Trump is now magically winning, so you’ll stay tuned in out of fear and adrenaline. But if you fall for this, it means you’re not out there trying to fight and win.
This is a particularly dangerous stretch. Not because Trump is doing well or has anything up his sleeve (he’s firing the same dim witted blanks as ever), but because the media has decided to manipulate your increased apprehension levels for the sake of ratings. Don’t fall for it.

By the way, the polls are NOT the problem. Outliers and statistical oddities happen. It’s why you only ever take the polling averages seriously, because the averages smooth out the outliers.
