The Medicaid block grant announcement is tentatively slated for end of next week.

It’s been driven by SEEMA VERMA, who’s worked to set limits on Medicaid spending and coverage. Verma also oversaw Trump’s controversial Medicaid work requirements, which have been blocked in court.
Trump’s Medicaid block grant plan would come just days after Trump signaled his willingness to cut Medicare — contrary to his 2016 campaign promise to protect both programs.
