#FAQ: How can you prepare now so you’ll be ready if you need to care for a loved one who becomes ill with #COVID19?

#coronavirus
For home: add a few extra non-perishable items to your grocery cart each time you do your regular shopping.
• Personal hygiene: soap, facial tissue, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, diapers
• Cleaning products: surface disinfectant, dish & laundry detergent
Refill prescriptions early and check that you have fever reducing medication to ensure your medicine cabinet supplies aren’t running low.
If you are the main caregiver for children or other dependants, have a plan for engaging a backup caregiver in the event you become ill with #COVID19.
For work: plan ahead to adapt regular work arrangements. Talk to your employer about working from home, if possible should the need arise.
Planning ahead and having key necessities on hand will help you and your community manage #COVID19.
