Billionaire @JackMa has given millions of dollars in coronavirus aid per country worldwide, Canada gave emergency aid to China amid diplomatic tensions, and China has transported thousands of doctors to countries across the world to assist in COVID19 efforts.
.@JackMa is accused of saving people for self-profit, Canada is accused of using COVID19 aid to bribe China, and China is accused of using aid for the sole purpose of 'currying favor'. This is guilt deflection and altruism envy. 
"The endoself or endo-ideal will destroy gifts, preferably in front of the giver, to ensure they are devalued, and later they will deny they received any or accuse the giver of stealing them."
Other extreme examples of devaluing of work or altruistic actions is the endless shunning and conspiracy theories aimed at groups like the White Helmets; as one of a handful of groups assisting Syrians, doubts are cast on them by individuals or groups who have provided nothing.
"They chronically devalue, dismiss or don’t see work done by anyone else just as they exaggerate work done by the endo-ideal."
Instead of blaming Trump for delaying COVID19 testing they blame China; instead of decrying inaction of homegrown billionaires they attack foreign altruistic billionaires; instead of trusting health professionals or rescuers they trust conspiracies that denigrate those altruists.
Media calling @JackMa a 'Chinese billionaire' are calling on endogroup envy. Endogroups are extremely hostile towards attempts to build relationships, and deny any virtue outside of their own endo-ideal. We need to start recognizing and calling out altruism envy for what it is.
Credit allocation in an endogroup is a zero sum game.
Envy is a lust for greater power on behalf of an endo-ideal.
