EDITORIAL: "TRAFFIC LIGHTS for March 22, 2020"

GREEN LIGHT to the staff of @NickAnimation for a musical PSA on the deadly coronavirus pandemic that is so good that I wouldn't be surprised if the @AdCouncil picked it up and had it run on several other networks and on several ad-supported streaming services.
The ad, which is, of course, about protecting yourself from the deadly disease has a lot of very good things going for it. One is that the production on the PSA is a lot slicker than that recent all-too-isolated celebrity cover of John Lennon's classic tune "Imagine".
Another thing that it has going for it is that Nickelodeon selected, as the singer-rapper of the one-minute PSA, none other than the most qualified medical expert on the COVID-19 pandemic in all of Toontown . . . #TheLoudHouse's four-year-old scientist Lisa Loud.
Her voice, in both the rapping and singing departments, remains rather top notch, as does the quality of the information she provides.
RED LIGHT to @FoxNews' reporting on the coronavirus. The conservative news giant might seem to take the pandemic seriously now, but the @WashingtonPost has posted a video which shows that its change of heart regarding the COVID-19 pandemic is very much an afterthought.
The pattern goes like this: one day, a Fox News personality will say that the coronavirus is a plot to impeach the president, and then, in just four days, that same person will say that we need to test for the coronavirus in order to prevent it from being spread.
Another Fox News personality will say that it might be, at worst, the flu, and it will take him nine days to say that it is a new kind of virus. Still, another might say that talk about the coronavirus being deadly doesn't reflect reality only for her to say, one week later . . .
. . . that it is an "incredibly contagious and dangerous virus." Then, there's @SeanHannity, who might one week suggest that that the coronavirus is just like the common flu only for him to turn around and say we must slow down its spread on a show he will do the next week.
Finally, the video brought up @AinsleyEarhardt, one of the Fox and Friends hosts, who told her viewers that "we have a responsibility to slow down this virus and think of other people" DAYS AFTER declaring that it was safe to fly during this time because the terminals are dead.
This whole thing made me come up with a new slogan for @FoxNews: "We report, but are inconsistent about what we decide to say in what we report."
RED LIGHT to an unidentified young man who swiped COVID_19 test kits from the El Rio Health Center at 839 W. Congress St. Survellance tapes show that the suspect disguised himself as a delivery man, climbed into the health center and swiped twenty-nine test kits from there.
Worse yet, @Tucson_Police has said he was trying to sell those test kits on the black market. This behavior is very scummy and robs many medical professionals of their potential to help develop a cure for the coronavirus. kgun9.com/news/coronavir…
That young man, once he is caught, should be sent to a prison cell for his most unhealthy of wrongdoings.
