Important: Here's how the Russian brokered deal to evacuate #Douma involving #SAA & Jaysh al Islam (JAI) went sour, paving the way for a widespread military operation today in the last trapped rebel enclave in East #Ghouta
31. Within 48 hours the deal should be completed, which draws to a close the Russian backed #SAA operation to retake the whole of Eastern #Ghouta
32. Buses enter #Douma just now to start process of taking JAI to #Jarablus under terms of agreement
33. 100+ buses have entered #Douma so far
34. First group of captives held in #Douma have been handed over to #SAA, thousands of families waiting at the corridor for more to arrive.

Fahed kanjo is a Syrian journalist based in #Damascus, he has a weekly radio show on Farah FM. He was arrested days ago and is now awaiting trail for criticising the ministry of tourism after the ministry issued a complaint that he insulted the state of tourism in country.
1. This has become an increasing problem in recent times, ministries and institutions having the ability to make complaints on journalists who are lawfully & decently working & not even deeply criticising state behavior.
2. The state of tourism in #Syria Is relativly poor and corruption exists, everyone knows this, journalists are meant to be protected by Syrian laws & the constitution.

For the 2nd time after the #Douma nonsense Eliot Higgins plays dumb to appear smart. Let's see how the psychological in depth analysis applies:
Either they recreated it or the creation was some kind of hell canon theme variation or they used some old and previously dropped modifications. In fact no image is known of an helicopter dropping yellow cylinders and only very few presented cylinders show those modifications.
You find hardly more than maybe 5 images of similar modification. Khan-al-Assal, Aleppo, Kallaseh. SAMS provided an image from Latamneh showing a cylinder with scratches maybe caused by such modifications. However, the wheels appeared in 2018 but maybe existed earlier.

The situation in eastern Ghouta is truly horrific. Locals are reporting the numerous families are buried under the rubble and civil defense are unable to dig them out. Russian and regime jets & helicopters pounded the besieged enclave non-stop.
People are terrified and fatalistic, saying goodbyes to their friends as they await death.
Many civilians are taking up arms to defend their neighborhoods, but regime forces continue advancing. Ghouta has been severed into 3 pockets or is on the verge of being severed.
Civilians are not leaving the underground shelters in which they're staying, relying on animal feed to survive.
People are terrified, false rumors are spreading like fire. Thousands of displaced civilians from towns captured by the regime have fled into rebel-held towns.
