Does anyone really believe it's a coincidence that, years prior to the 2011 outbreak of violence in Syria, the US and UK were planning to create an uprising of the exact type that occurred in 2011? Does even the biggest war proponent honestly believe that?

Does anyone honestly think it's a coincidence that as early as 1986 the CIA was examining ways to provoke a Sunni uprising and create "a strong need for Western aid and investment to build Syria’s private economy, thus opening the way for stronger ties to Western governments"? 
Does anyone honestly think it's a coincidence that a 2006 cable published by WikiLeaks shows the US government discussing ways to provoke an aggressive overreaction to a possible uprising from the Syrian government five years before that exact type of uprising occurred?
Does anyone honestly think it's a coincidence that Syria was listed as one of the targets for US regime change that General Wesley Clark learned about in 2001?
On top of all that, does anyone honestly think it's a coincidence that a former Foreign Minister of France was told by British officials that the UK was organizing an invasion of rebels into Syria two years before Assad attacked those "peaceful protesters" for no reason in 2011?
This is a 1969 interview about a coup the CIA staged in Syria in 1949. Syria occupies a strategically crucial bit of land that has had the CIA salivating for generations. But the violence in Syria couldn't possibly have anything to do with that, could it?

And of COURSE the media are lying to us about Syria. They lie about every war. Here's CNN staging a fake, scripted interview with a 7 year-old girl to sell interventionism to their unsuspecting audience. That's how brazen and pervasive the Syria lies are.
