2/3 or person talking to camera. 2) If you were going to use these resources in teaching - narrated slides or person to camera. 3) Longer lectures - like the ones I've posted on my YouTube channel recently or lecturers divided into shorter - say 20 mins - chunks? And again...

1/5 I'm pleased to announce a seminar series in summer 2019 on the theme - "Exploring the potential for creative and arts-based methods for applied psychological research" funded by a @BPSOfficial seminar competition award. Organised by me, @UWEHealthPsy, @Creativepsyche & others
2/5 The 1st seminar is at Bath Uni on 21 May exploring visual and story telling approaches. Confirmed speakers - Hannah Frith, Naomi Moller, @HarrietShortt & @dawnmannay. Details of how to book will be released ASAP. There will be a call for submissions from PG students & ECRs.
3/5 The second seminar is at Aston Uni on 11 June hosted by @DrRachelShaw on the theme of 'piercing the mundane', with confirmed speakers @ProfRodham, @LauraSue888 & Cathy Randle-Philips. There will be a call for submissions from PG students & ECRs shortly.

1/10 For those of you learning about or having a go at #thematicanalysis for the first time, & particularly the TA approach developed by me & @ginnybraun (which is quite diff from others), I want to share some thoughts on coding in our approach, & tips for learning to code well.
2/10 One thing to avoid when you're reading data is starting to think about themes straight away & use coding to identify themes in the data. Our approach involves building themes from codes, so themes happen later in the process. Make a note of your ideas & put them aside.
3/10 You want to avoid reading the data through the lens of these initial impressions - sometimes our initial thoughts are 'gold', but often they are quite superficial or obvious, & a thorough familiarisation & coding process can lead to more complex, nuanced & richer insights.

#Khashoggi Case Thread: I am going to ‘pin’ this post to use it as an ‘Info Thread’ on the #Khashoggi Case. I am in #Turkey. I’ve been following the case closely and with access to sources & experts here. This is a very ‘sensitive’ criminal case due to ‘Diplomatic Booby Traps’!!!
The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.

2) Beaucoup de réactions axées sur deux principales idées. C’est vrai et je l’ai dit, les #sjw c’est vieux, très vieux pour Internet (circa 2010). Ce mouvement est archi connu des personnes habituées aux memes, #Reddit, 9gag ou 4chan par exemple. Rien que le terme est polémique.
3) Je ne suis ni philosophe, ni politologue, ni juriste, ni sociologue, ni journaliste, ni anthropologue, ni statisticienne. J’exerce une activité un peu en lien avec tous ces domaines, et c’est dans l’étude de leurs relations que j’adore trouver du sens.
