As a transgender spokesperson & public figure, she influenced other transgender people to change their sex on birth
certificates & to change their names. For the first time, it led to complications over sex and science and the changing definition of sexuality. Gender was thought of as a set binary that was permanent, but Jorgensen's case questioned that stability. Gender was not the set binary

ICC can be faced with total non-cooperation, dwindling resources, hostility etc. Forms part of challenge to conducting investigations. We need to anticipate such challenges. US isn’t 1st state to refuse to cooperate with ICC, eg Sudan, but we still collected evidence: Bensouda.
Since I announced investigation into Philippines. I’m sure you’ve heard response of leader, including threats against Prosecutor. But, eg, see Burundi where I opened prelim invest. Burundi immediately withdrew, but we ctd investigation & obtained satisfactory evidence- Bensouda.

#Khashoggi Case Thread: I am going to ‘pin’ this post to use it as an ‘Info Thread’ on the #Khashoggi Case. I am in #Turkey. I’ve been following the case closely and with access to sources & experts here. This is a very ‘sensitive’ criminal case due to ‘Diplomatic Booby Traps’!!!
The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.

2: You seem to misunderstand the role of a sr developer and yours as manager.
A feature (or any other chunk of code) is never really "done" until the code is erased from production. We all must support it, somehow. Bugs happen. Customers call. We are paid for working systems. Clicking "Deliver" and "Accept" is not the end of our responsibility.
As a manager, it is your job to express the importance of production code to your staff. They are not royalty, or privileged spoiled generation whatever. In fact, most have been remarkably pragmatic and supportive when they are informed about the importance of on-call.
