1) Evangelists and Breaking India forces have been using Bali as a stick with which to beat Hindus and spread hatred. Phule equated Bali with Christ. Church could rule Kerala only once( Portuguese invasion/conquest).Then,it revealed its real love by banning Onam celebrations.
2) Onam is NOT about "Vanquished and his defeat". Onam is a celebration of victory and birth of Lord Vishnu (Vamana) and of return of his devotee, king Bali, to celebrate Vamana's birth at Vamana temple in Thrikkakara(="place of holy foot"), Kochi, Kerala
3)Bhagavata Purana(8.18.5) says Lord Vishnu took birth as Vamana on Shravana Dvadashi. This is exactly the time of Uthradom(Onam Eve). The Onam festival is celebrated for four days until Purnima. Even South Indian tradition agrees that Onam marks birth of Lord Vishnu as Vamana
4)We find the confirmation from Earliest South Indian literature(Sangam, Madurai Kanchi) that Onam was celebrated in ancient Tamilakam(Tamilnadu-Kerala) not as festival of Bali but as birthday of "Asura destroying" Vishnu.

Nairs still keep Onam battle traditions of this poem
5) Medieval South Indian literature like the 10th century Divya Prabandham shows Onam continued to be celebrated as festival of Lord Vishnu. Rice and fruits were prepared and offered to Vishnu
6) That Onam was a festival of Lord Vishnu is confirmed by Independent sources. William Logan, a Scottish civil servant of 19th century noted in his "Malabar Manual" Onam was the day on which Vishnu descended to make his people happy. Along with Vishnu came Vishnu's devotee Bali
7) Francis Day, a 17th century Administrator lived in Kerala and Tamilnadu, wrote a book about Kerala. In his book, he reproduced the stories of Onam he heard from local people. Even he testifies that Onam was a festival,Keralites believed, when God Vishnu wandered about the earth
8)The earliest record of Onam celebrations in Kerala comes from Thirikkara Vamana temple (861 CE). Onam is celebrated in this temple as birthday of Vamana and return of Bali to worship the Lord every year is anticipated. Processions of Vamana Murti("idol") are carried out.
9) Here, @tjoseph0010 claims the Devas including Vishnu disliked Bali. Is this claim true? Did Devas really dislike Bali? Let us check from primary sources.
10) In the same episode, Lord Vishnu says Bali is his best and most famous devotee among Daityas.Vishnu further grants Bali immortality and makes Bali Lord Indra of future Manvantara. Bhagavata Purana 18.8)

Is this hatred?

Church banning Onam celebrations is love? @tjoseph0010
11) This is another lie. Vishnu NEVER "placed his foot on Bali's head and sent him to Patala". This is a widespread misconception among lay people and malicious people seem to have taken full advantage of it. In no Purana is this incident ever mentioned

12) Here's what really happened

1) Vamana asks Bali for three footsteps of land and is granted
2) Vamana covers everything Bali has in two steps (one footstep covers earth and another covers antariksha and beyond)
3) Bali asks Vamana to place his third footstep on Bali's head
13.
Then, Vishnu in the form of Vamana says " I am delighted, Bali. You are the most excellent one. Choose a boon. I shall give you everything you wish" (Skanda Purana 1.1.18)

Vishnu does not actually place his foot on Bali's head and send him to Patala. That never happened.
14. Vishnu comes to test Bali's generosity. He becomes satisfied and grants Bali any boon he wishes. But Bali his only one wish. To always be with Vishnu.

Vishnu grants the wish. Leaves Vaikunta and repairs to Bali's new abode Sutala where there is no fear, hatred, disease.
15)Srimad Bhagavatam (5.24) says Lord Vamana served as gatekeeper of Bali in Sutala which is grander than Svarga. Vamana kicked Ravana out of Sutala when Ravana invaded Sutala. Such is the beautiful relation between Bhagavan and Bhatka. Hateful evangelists not sparing them
16. Even today, the most important part of Onam celebrations is Thrikkakara Appan, which is a clay Pyramid representing Lord Vamana who is worshiped as the guest. This only shows how communists and evangelists have systematically divorced Onam from its Hindu roots
17.

FAKE.

I challenge you to produce the primary source of this song. There is no such song anywhere in historical records. In anything predating 20th century. This song was forged by Sahodaran Ayyappan, a 20th century politician.
18. Ofcourse, Sahodaran Ayyappan freely plagiarised from earlier sources. Such as the Maveli song found in Gundert Collection. However, he conveniently edited out parts of song which show Bali's Hindu roots. For example, he edited out the part where Bali is shown feeding Brahmins
