How do the psychopaths who live amongst us get away with their exploitation for years? Think Trump, Weinstein, Nassar. They threaten and intimidate reputations, livelihood, ability to work/compete/go to school, and the personal safety of the victim and their family. They extort.

These threats follow months to years of trauma, psychological manipulation and abuse such that the victim’s self esteem and confidence have been shattered, and their energy and resources exhausted. Standing up for oneself is not only impossible but dangerousness.

Every psychopath has groomed same spectrum enablers who aid and abet their abuse and feed off of it. They protect the reputation of narcissistic psychopath no matter how exploitive their behavior.

Narcissistic supply for enablers may be attention, belonging to a group, prestige, power, a job, material rewards or money. These enablers help the psychopath abuse and prove to the victim that fighting back or going public will destroy them.

Indeed the professional advice is to go no contact, break off all contact with the psychopath and their enablers. The victims lose most of their life as they knew it including best friends and family members. This is the persuasive & manipulative power of narcissists/psychopaths.

Lucky for Bezos he has the power and money, and most likely the exploitive personality traits to fight back. Unfortunately this is not what most victims of psychopaths like Donald Trump have when they’re victimized emotionally, physically, sexually or financially.

We’ve gone no contact for good reason. Our lives irreparably changed by no choice of our own.
