The Mueller & Barr reports are very narrow in scope, so people should be careful of drawing broader conclusions.

The following three conclusions are false or premature.

1. Conclusion #1: Trump didn't commit any federal crimes.

FALSE.

The SDNY named Trump as an unindicted co-conspirator in committing campaign finance violations regarding the hush payment to Stormy Daniels.

The Mueller report doesn't contradict the SDNY's conclusions on this issue.

2. Conclusion #2: Trump cannot be impeached for obstruction of justice because Barr cleared him of that charge.

FALSE.

Mueller specifically said that the evidence didn't exonerate Trump on this issue.

Barr's decision not to indict doesn't mean Congress can't come to a different conclusion with respect to impeachment and removal from office.

Impeachment for obstruction is still on the table.

3. Conclusion #3: Trump did not collaborate with Russia in any form.

FALSE.

Mueller found that Trump didn't collude with Russia with respect to election interference.

He made no conclusions regarding Trump's relationship with Russia with respect to the Trump Tower in Russia deal, for example, or other Trump-Russia connections outside of election interference.

Bottom line, Barr's summary of Mueller's report raises a lot of questions. It's Congress's turn now to examine the report & and the evidence and make its own determinations and conclusions.

It's not over. Far from it.
