Way backstory.
In Dec of 1995, I met a family friend. She was a holocaust survivor.
(Not knowing any better) I asked what the blue numbers on her arm meant.
She explained as a child she had survived the occupation.
(Still clueless) I bent down and touched her arm to look closer.
