Just watched the Sanders town hall on Fox. Good to see his message get to a wider audience. He received applause for virtually every position he took and is clearly the Democratic party's best shot at defeating Trump. But his weakest area is foreign policy.
When a Syrian-American asked Sanders if he agrees that the US should stay out of Syria and Venezuela or if he's "going to become another cog in the war machine" he pivoted to his opposition to war on Iraq and Yemen. Nothing about dirty war on Syria or attempted coup in Venezuela
Another key moment: when an audience member asked how Sanders "can challenge the idea that socialism is bad", he responded by calling himself a "democratic socialist" in order to assure the wealthy that he's not a communist. There's no good reason to pander like that.

#FDR is arguably one of the most 'successful' #US Presidents. Some would argue that on the basis of his numerous social policies such as 'the New Deal'. Others, however, would argue that his role during the second world war was more prevalent to his success & everlasting legacy.
