Soon after the Trump admin took office, I started keeping a list of the immigration-related changes they made.

It ended up being wildly handy & I referenced it regularly.

Today we published that list. Including all 200+ changes.

Some interesting bits:
Of course, this administration has received a lot of attention for their work on border security & interior enforcement. But those efforts have included some creative, under-the-radar work, like unprecedented use of visa sanctions to get countries to accept deported nationals (8)
In their efforts to speed up removal proceedings, the administration has imposed a slew of different (& contradicting) case processing priorities on the immigration court system. (14)
But not only are they pressuring judges to adjudicate faster, the administration is also changing judge membership, having rolled back past restrictions placed on immigration judge hiring. (10)
Through the @StateDept's visa adjudications responsibilities, the administration has implemented a series of varied changes, likely modeled after the President's promise for "extreme vetting." (26)
And @USCIS has also heightened scrutiny & vetting, including introducing Continuous Immigration Vetting, in which applicants will eventually be continually vetted until (or ending only if) they become U.S. citizens. (28)
We also included anticipated changes that will have big impacts.

For example, the administration is planning a big change to the green card application process that will ⬆️ adjudication times & eliminate the ability of immigrants to work & travel while waiting.
