Why on *Earth* is the @BBCNews throwing its weight & resources behind blatant, uncritical promo video of a Turning Point UK activist?... Complete with her Insta account best shots, etc?

Listen -I’ve got nothing against her - politically-minded youth is a great thing.

I do, however, object to such a blatant promotional piece. It feels inappropriate. Also, I note she’s a Turning Point UK activist. That makes me very suspicious about how all this came into being.
If it is the case that a political mates’ network in the BBC has been used to leverage development of political careers, then that would seem a highly questionable use of public funds.
