In recent years, Latin America has declined as a source of immigrants, while the Middle East and Africa have increased. This is exactly what you'd expect from both population and economic growth trends.
The great Mexican emigration boom is over. Mexicans are staying home these days.
Given the fertility drops in the Middle East, we can expect to see emigration from that region trail off in the coming decade, especially if the wars die down.

10 or 15 years from now, Africa will be the big source of international migration.
