Jennine Capó Crucet was invited to Georgia Southern for their First Year Experience lecture. Some students became combative during Q&A because her work takes about race. They close out the night BY BURNING HER BOOKS.
Group burninings in Georgia will always have a racist patina. What a lovely intellectual tradition.
