Lots of chat of EU relying on indicative vote in Commons. Can see the attraction. That helps gets Johnson past detail problem. Says 'trust me' to DUP and ERG, bung em cash, secure mandate, then short tech extension for details.
If it passed, EU and Johnson would try to turn into totemic moment. But ultimately, those details have to come out sometime. And any vote against actual withdrawal agreement would obvs negate indicative vote.
Period after Oct 31 would turn into guerrilla campaign.
