Why does the MSM give state & local governments a pass, when they've done nothing for decades to save their own economies. States like PA are a disaster, yet officials keep taxing & giving hand outs, expecting workers to pay. PA has highest gas tax in the nation & the worst roads

Funds awarded through TIIF, which PennDOT administers with Dept of Community & Economic Development. Funds are awarded at Governor’s discretion for projects associated w/ economic development opportunities.

43% of roads in Philadelphia are in poor condition. They're in such dire shape, city plans to pour $200 million into repaving next 6 yrs. Schuylkill Exprsswy, built in 1959, a decrepit, undersized highway, runs along a river so it can’t be upgraded for the 163,000 daily vehicles.

California has some of the worst roads in the nation in it's major cities. 7 out of 10 San Francisco Bay area roads are in poor condition. It's truly the highway to hell. In 2016, 50% of patients at local trauma centers were injured in traffic accidents.

San Jose, in the wealthy Silicon Valley, has nearly 400 miles of bad roads. They last repaired their roadways in 2011, reports The Mercury News.
