4/ Write lots of lightweight tweets: quick one-line opinions, things you found surprising, and links to things you found interesting (not things you want to market). And when posting links, include a line about what exactly you found interesting about the article
5/ If you're going to tweet about events you attend, instead of where you went and who you were with, focus on what you learnt and what insights you want your followers to know about
6/ Don't put links to Facebook posts and Linkedin posts on Twitter. The same format doesn't work her, and many people on Twitter are on Twitter because they don't like Linkedin and Facebook.

7/ Also, if you have an Instagram background, you might be tempted to put a lot of hashtags. That does not work as well on Twitter, so avoid hashtags (one or two are fine, but more is a problem)
8/ Initial engagement will be low, compared to Linkedin, because you've spent a lifetime building your network on Linkedin, while you're just getting started here.
