At the risk of dipping my toes into Labour leadership chat before I intended, a couple of observations:
1) Voters won’t have a clue who most of the candidates are
2) Most won’t care
3) First impressions count
4) Some degree of contrition & sense of freshness needed

In my opinion factional rows about Corbyn or Blair are missing the point.
As it stands Labour is largely irrelevant for the foreseeable. Everything the party does needs to push back against this reality.
Any sense of ‘more of the same’ a real problem.
