here's a peek at MEGA DRIVE DEFINITIVO, the crowdfunded book produced by Brazilian publishing group Warpzone in 2017—it's all in Portuguese so a lot of the BR-specific info isn't easy to read but it's an obviously impressive work

(and when I say I've "referenced" it I mean I had someone send me photos of it because it's a pain to buy and I can barely read it anyhow)

LRT: something not really touched on in that piece is that Konami's legacy with traditional arcade-style games didn't just bolster Tokimemo and help it win over that crowd, it was also made by people with that background, under some duress, and it's a wonder they pulled it off
previous to Tokimemo team, those devs were the AC-to-PCE crew & they were preparing an original STG before being about-faced into making a galge

Koji Igarashi had writing duties dropped in his lap & he spent the entire time desperately hoping his lines didn't come off as corny
despite being set in the modern day (so, mid-'90s), the setting, music, etc is distinctly early-'80s, owing to the fact that IGA was basically just writing school life as he remembered it; it was noted as peculiar at the time but many post-Tokimemo games adopted the same tone

Until now, the only SEO space where AMP was kind of "mandatory" was on news: if you want to appear on the "Top stories" box, you kind of need to have your articles to use AMP. You can appear there withouth AMP, but you don't get the same visual benefits #AMP #SEO .
Now Google is bringing "Stories" (like Instagram Stories, Snapchat Stories, etc.) to search results. They just announced it at #ampconf (see ) #AMP #SEO
This means that for certain kind of queries (by now: travel, and later also gaming, movies, tv and fashion) the first result will get another "special box" called "Visual Stories" where you can only appear using not only AMP, but AMP stories #AMP #SEO
