The story of two LNG pipelines, Nord Stream 2 and EastMed—a story that involves Greece, Turkey, Israel, Cyprus, Russia, Ukraine, the EU, and basically *everyone* is a story I'll never write but it would certainly dovetail at certain key points with Trump's foreign policy scandals
(If you want to know what Papadopoulos was up to before, during, and after the election, for instance, it has to do with the byzantine energy politics of the Mediterranean region—where the stakes are so high and the actors so intense you feel there's no law that can't be broken.)
(Kudos to Maddow for writing her recent book, as I've got to say that oil-and-gas politics and machinations are basically the most complex/fully insane thing I've ever encountered—short of Erik Prince's efforts to take over the world via military supply lines and private armies.)
