Campaign to end Burkha and Hijab would be "fascist."

This is India "secularism." Why? Because Indian secularism=#ChristoIslamism. It is a #JihadCoolie.
Burkha is spreading far more rapidly in India. Where is the Congress campaign to end it? Where is the same patronizing language?
No. The burkha-isation of society is a far bigger threat. It also marks out the "other" women as targets by the Islamists. It is a modesty culture which makes non-hijabi women unsafe. The Gunghat is cultural attire. The hijab is religious bigotry.

Have been reading the 1910 edition of Encyclopedia Britannica for insights into the colonial mind.

Fascinating description of "religion" in India. Even they agree then that the distinctions between "Hinduism" "Buddhism" "Jainism" "Sikhism" as "separate" are arbitrary. Image
"Hinduism" gets manufactured as "cow", "caste" and "Brahamanism." Completely arbitrary. Do Aghoris follow "Brahamanism"? Do Naga Sadhus (or any sanyasi) follow "caste"? The European mind is desperate to find "religion" in India, This colonial discourse is simply replicated today.

Though the "Aryan Invasion Theory" has little evidence to back it, there is something even more diabolical about it.

Even by that account, Hindu traditions are indigenous to India for at least 4000+ years. If they are labelled "foreign", there are no indigenous in the world.
But its use in colonial propaganda is so insidious that Indians are made to fight about this "theory" 4000 years later and it is even used as a political tool, in parliament today.

Sheer madness.
There is no other country in the world where people are being made to fight amongst each other based on dubious events, with no textual or epigraphic evidence, which even hypothetically took place over 4000 years ago.

Such is the power of narrative on the colonial mind.
