Here is a look at the past and a glimpse into the future. Austin has experienced many years of explosive growth that brought with it millions of tax dollars. The Austin city government thought and still thinks that the annual cash windfall will never end.
They spent money like crazy without much thought to the future. A few Boondoggles: The Dell contract to link all city departments. The Waller Creek project that had to be stopped and redesigned due to height issues. The purchase of a wood fired power plant. Downtown toilets.
That is just a few but they illustrate how incompetent @MayorAdler 's @austintexasgov is, and there is a direct correlation at how amateur incompetent reporters such as @daustinsanders w/ the @AustinChronicle believe that they actually give Austinites THE STRAIGHT DOPE.

Bernie is a senator. He introduced the Stop Bezos Act last year & it’s never been voted on. So numbers 2,3 & 5 are complete bullshit & had nothing to do with Bernie Sanders

#FDR promoted the idea that the people of the world, in all nations, shared entitlement to four freedoms: that of the freedom of speech and expression, the freedom of worship, the freedom from want and the freedom from fear.
#FDR is arguably one of the most 'successful' #US Presidents. Some would argue that on the basis of his numerous social policies such as 'the New Deal'. Others, however, would argue that his role during the second world war was more prevalent to his success & everlasting legacy.

Executive Order 13772, titled "Core Principles for Regulating the United States Financial System", is an executive order signed by U.S. President Donald Trump on February 3, 2017. One of the objective is to streamline financial regulations.
Trump as well assigned a task for the US Department of Treasury to report to the President the current regulations and their effectiveness in carrying out these core principles
