1️⃣ Perdue bought stock in pharmaceuticals — not just any pharma company — he invested up to $245,000 in #Pfizer, which just announced its plan to create a #Coronavirus vaccine. Bear with me, it gets worse. 2/8

2️⃣Perdue also bought shares of #DuPont — a leading manufacturer of #PPE including face masks, gloves, hazmat suits — essential healthcare supplies our hospitals and healthcare professionals are currently in desperately short supply of. 3/8

3️⃣That’s not all Perdue invested in. Add #Disney and #Viacom to the list, both offering streaming services that will see dramatic increases in usage with the temporary closures of our offices and schools. 4/8

4️⃣Here’s one that hits close to home: #Delta. Perdue bought shares in the airline just as the federal government is discussing a massive federal bailout for the industry — one that the Senator will likely have a vote on. 5/8

5️⃣Let’s talk about what Perdue sold: up to $165,000 in stocks for #CaesarsEntertainment, the Las Vegas company that recently shuttered its hotel and entertainment properties due to the #coronavirus spread. 6/8

@sendavidperdue should not profit off of the #COVID19 pandemic. Not only is using inside information for personal gain illegal, and a violation of the #Senate oath, it’s downright despicable—especially when millions of lives are at stake. 7/8
