My take away from Divine Service today:

1. God’s love for you is so big it will never stop.
2. He has loved you from forever before and will love you for forever afterwards.
3. Honor the past. Be realistic about the present. Be hopeful towards the future.
4. God is with you in the valley & on the mountain top.
5. It’s ultimately ALL about God’s story and we are apart of it. And, He is working in us.
6. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” -Hebrews 13:8
7. “…his steadfast love endures forever.” -Psalm 136:2
8. Now receive His body & blood for the forgiveness of your sins.

Thing to ponder this week:
How is God taking the things of my past and using them to bless others? -Landon

Have you ever wondered why God was meticulous and careful to choose godly fathers for Samson, John and Jesus? Even though their mothers (Samson and Jesus) experienced angelic visitations yet God knew that if their fathers were not godly, it will disrupt His purpose.
One key thing I learnt early in my walk with God is that ''He is a God of order". Also, God hates rebellion. Therefore, there is structure and organogram in His Kingdom.
In Jude 13, the angel appeared to Samson's mother to deliver a prophecy & left when he was done. The woman got home & told her husband about what the angel told her. The husband had a deep understanding of his role has the head of the family and seek clarification. He prayed.

Beautiful story!!

Reading This brought tears down my eyes this morning...!!!

Its worth a read and surely #TooGoodNotToShare .

In the country of Armenia, in 1988, Samuel and Danielle sent their young son, Armand, off to school.
Samuel squatted before his son and looked him in the eye. "Have a good day at school, and remember, no matter what, I’ll always be there for you." They hugged and the boy ran off to school.

Hours later, a powerful earthquake rocked the area.
In the midst of the pandemonium, Samuel and Danielle tried to discover what happened to their son but they couldn’t get any information.

The radio announced that there were thousands of casualties. Samuel then grabbed his coat and headed for the schoolyard.

I read a #TouchingStory and felt it was #TooGoodNotToShare

“In 1979, I was managing a Wendy's in Port Richey, Florida.

Unlike today, staffing was never a real problem, but I was searching for a someone to work three hours a day only at lunch.
I went thru all my applications and most were all looking for full time or at least 20 hours per week. I found one however, buried at the bottom of a four-inch stack that was only looking for lunch part-time. His name was Nicky.
Hadn't met him but thought I would give him a call and see if he could stop by for an interview. When I called, he wasn't in but his mom said she would make sure he would be there.

At the accorded time, Nicky walked in. One of those moments when my heart went in my throat.

Do you know the difference between a beggar and a business man?

Please read to the end to get the full gist of it ..
Once, a beggar while begging in a train, noticed a well-dressed businessman wearing a suit and boots.

He thought that this man must be very rich, so he will surely give good money if I ask him.

So he went and asked that man for alms.
The man looked at the beggar and said, "You always beg and keep asking from people, do you ever give anything to anyone?"

The beggar said, "Sir, I am a beggar, I can only keep asking people for money. How will I be able to give anything to anyone?"

Kola developed a sense of jealousy and disgruntlement, but continued working anyway.
One day Kola felt that he could not work with Tayo anymore. He wrote his resignation letter, but before he submitted it to the Manager, he complained that Management did not value hard working staff, but promoted only the favoured!

Today many countries have an interesting #paradox.

A young man saw his primary school teacher on a wedding.
He went to greet him with all the respect and admiration.

He said to him:
"Do you remember me, Teacher?"

The teacher said: "No, please introduce yourself."
The student said: "I was your student in the 3rd Grade, I am the one who stole the watch of a child in the classroom. I will remind you but I am sure you remember the story."

One of the boys in my class had a beautiful watch, so I decided to steal it.

A leading five star hotel in #India had invited Mr. Masai Imai from Japan to hold a workshop for its staff.
The staff were very skeptical - the hotel is doing excellent business, this person from #Japan has no exposure to hotel industry - what exactly is he going to teach?

But everybody gathered as planned for the workshop in the conference hall sharp at 9 am.
Mr.Masai was introduced to them;a not so impressive personality, nor the English all that good;spoke as if he was first formulating each sentence in Japanese & then translating it into rather clumsy English.

I read reviews about this book #DieEmpty and found them #TooGoodNotToShare ..

The most beautiful book to read is "Die Empty" by Todd Henry.

The author was inspired and got this idea of writing this book while attending a business meeting.
When the director asked the audience: "Where is the richest land in the world?"

One of the audience answered: "Oil-rich Gulf states."

Another added: "Diamond mines in Africa."
Then the director said: "No it is the cemetery. Yes, it is the richest land in the world, because millions of people have departed/died and they carried many valuable ideas that did not come to light nor benefit others. It is all in the cemetery where they are buried."

When a real man buys a virtuous woman something, he is not putting a price on her approval but basking in the warmth of her joy in appreciation of his benevolence. Triggering happiness in others helps us find our own in an ineffable way. Love, life & happiness can’t be bought. ⛱
People wonder why a woman would give her all for a man who could care less but forget how priceless it feels to see another soul you love express joy because of an action of another. What we do when we could have ignored matters a great deal.
Some of us can’t even complain or find words for our pains and agony. We simply convert the hurt and channel all our being into making life better for others and through their expression of joy, we find our comfort. There are very few people that know my pains.
