Have to agree with this which is a fair criticism. The BoD tweet could have led with empathy and raised the (fair) complaint at the same time. Defending Israel doesn’t mean losing perspective that there are innocent victims of conflict as well as media issues
I do kind of wish that the Board of Deputies would be a little more careful with their social media. Seems that the general tone now is ‘angry and outraged’. I’m not sure how helpful it is. It’s a representative body which includes lots of different political perspectives 
I realise they want to defend Israel - and that’s fine. But perhaps do that in a way which is a little more balanced and a little less... 😡
