This is “Saint Boniface” destroying an oak tree in Germany revered by pagans. Many such sacred groves in Europe were destroyed. It is a premonition before the total ecological destruction in Europe, as well as decimation of natural philosophy until it recovered 1000 years later.
A sacred tree or a river, by which ritual offerings are made, is an embodiment of “Shakti”. It is that spirit that keeps pulling the mind back into consciousness, whenever it is engulfed in ignorance and unable to comprehend what is happening to the natural world.
Destroying that Shakti is the first step before the destruction of ecology. This total destruction requires man to be acknowledged as the sole master of this earth, with all the species of plants and animals assigned to his dominion, by the one and only God (with capital G).
Certain locations on earth have a greater concentration of Shakti than the others. The force of life is unevenly distributed. Shallow seasonal seas, coral reefs, tropical rainforests and pasturelands nourished by seasonal monsoons are hotspots of biodiversity in this world.
When a place with Shakti is aligned to the cosmic order, through observations of the motion of the stars, and thereby being able to calculate the onset of the important seasons, people can lead a ecologically conscious life. That indeed is a life of Dharma.
It is important to understand this Asuric force that requires itself to destroy the places of Shakti, before turning the whole world into a raging ball of fire that can be consumed by it. People, institutions and religions are all just momentary vestibules for this Asuric force.
People are guiled into thinking they are important. Institutions are guiled into thinking they are serving human rights or whatever. Religions are guiled into thinking they are saving souls.

No, they are all just tools for a force they cannot comprehend.
People who are anguished at what is happening at #Sabarimala, try not to lose sight of the greater enemy. Don’t waste all your Tapas and energy on the momentary vestibules of the Asuric force.

What is at stake is a far greater battle for Dharma, for protecting natural diversity.
The only guide to Dharma is Rta. The only means to identify Rta is to be rooted in the Sat: the Purusha, that which is without change, without forms, without names and without disturbances of any kind.

All action and reaction has to be offered as victuals into the greater Yajña.
This Yajña requires one to be the doer, but not identify oneself as the doer. It requires one to be protective of all forms (Rūpa), but beyond the identification with any form. It requires one to be speaking in names (Nāma), but not bound to any name.

It is the only way.
