Google has kicked two popular apps out of the Play store after confirming our report that they engaged in app-install fraud. One of the apps, Kika Keyboard, was the top keyboard in the *entire* Play store, with +200 million downloads: buzzfeednews.com/article/craigs… 
Today, Cheetah Mobile issued a release about the removal of its app, CM File Manager. It doesn't dispute what Google found, and instead seeks to reassure investors that the app only contributed a small amount of revenue to its bottom line. Kika Tech hasn't responded. Meanwhile...

The big question hanging over this now: At what point would Google consider removing all Cheetah Mobile apps from the Play store and from its mobile ad network, AdMob? Cheetah is a big partner and sells a *lot* of inventory in Google's ad systems. There is a lot of $ at stake.
