How the magic is done!

The more melanin one has, the darker the skin. Most of the lightening creams contain substances that inhibit the production of melanine in dark skin hence the new skin colour. So for it to continue inhibiting melanin, you must apply daily.
Sad news!
At one point, despite continuous application the active substances (hydroquinone, tretinoin etc) start failing to work properly. So with age you have poorly distributed melanin in your skin. Result is, your skin colour will reflect different races all at same time. 😂
It can cause death!

Continuous application means accumulation of dangerous substances(mercury, hydroquinone) which could lead to skin cancer, multiple organ failure and death.
