The premise of #ThermalHydrogen is that all energy suppliers--renewable, nuclear, and fossil--have unique strengths & weaknesses.

Through #teamwork, the strengths can be harnessed.

This thread previews the basic concepts, an outline for implementation, and a new company.
Key insight #1 of #ThermalHydrogen is that electrolyser/fuel cells can also filter oxygen.

This pure O2 allows fossil fuels to become more efficient and pre-empt Carbon Capture.

Therefore, it allows a path where fossil fuels can be increasingly competitive and emissions free.
Key insight #2 of #ThermalHydrogen (& reason for name) is that heat can be distributed through chemicals.

That is, would-be wasted heat can be absorbed by endothermic chemical processes & distributed to heat demand.

So, heat is not wasted by these processes, it's distributed.
Key insight #3 of #ThermalHydrogen is that the versatility of the organic elements can create pumpable H2 carriers.

These liq. energy carriers are portable because they are pumpable. Flexible H2 carriers enables #1 and #2 (O2 and heat utilization) and seasonal RE/Nuc storage.
In summary--it's complicated, but...

It's emissions free heat and ions, pumped!

The following inefficient, pneumatic processes are pre-empted:

Baseload power plants
Piston engines
Carbon capture
H2 storage/dist.

Not too shabby right? James Watt merely moved a condenser.

Announcing a new company named Thermal Hydrogen Industries @thermalhydrogen to develop the centralized TH2 pipelines.

The company will be uniquely positioned to develop the pipeline systems given that it owns the intellectual property which makes it valuable.

The int'l patent office has already found the first ~4 inventions to be "novel and inventive".

Patents are pending for all inventions.
For ref., @JohnDelaney proposed a similar "carbon throughway" est. to cost $20B w an "economic impact" of $300B.

Adding 2 pipelines for #ThermalHydrogen would cost marginally more and would resolve the conflict of interest for fossil fuels.

Emits H2O, not CO2. Nice, right?
Finally, let’s talk about a cost estimate that has finally percolated to the public.

Many on #EnergyTwitter were surprised by these numbers.
