#Liberals emerge with the most amount of seats, if not quite a majority. #Conservative base loyalists, many of whom post replies on #Twitter may honestly believe #Butts is a liability. Wrong! While it's true that I predicted when he left that he would return to run the campaign

Some of my followers are asking "Charles haven't you changed your core beliefs over the last 20 yrs?" The answer is NO. A core belief isn't what you do with your hair or the clothes you wear. Core beliefs are deep, long lasting & revealing of character.
So 20 yrs ago I didn't think gov't had a right to control a woman's uterus or her decision to have an intimate relationship with another woman or a man's decision to be intimate with a man. I didn't think of any of this as what @JKenney called a "culture of death"
For me, human beings must have sovereignty over their personal decisions, having or not halving children, having intimacy and marriage with opposite or same. These are core beliefs that I has 20 yrs ago . They will never change.

The @JKenney clip tweeted earlier was part of a speech he gave in 1999 to a Western Canadian Conference of religious Catholic home school parents- This is the entire speech. I have zero doubt many social conservatives will be inspired by the messages being delivered here.
As for the rest of us, it's painful. I personally couldn't watch it in one sitting. Those of us who are mainstream Canadians can get very complacent, thinking that religious zealots have too much power in the Middle East, and some other parts of the world, but Canada is immune.
But as the astronaut played by Tom Hanks, said in Apollo 13, "Houston we have a problem." When you watch this speech, you can decide for yourself whether @JKenney is expressing views that are core to his thinking, and therefore not likely to change significantly over time.

There does not need to be much daylight between what Warnick said & what JWR will say for there to be a big problems.
Starting point: Warnick is not a neutral witness. He may not have been partisan but he is clearly very loyal to the government. And HIS conduct and reputation is very in question too.
