If you were POTUS what would you do to immediately stop gun violence in America?

By Executive Order I'd set up a bi-partisan Federal Agency tasked w/ Gun Safety & Reform
Every employee would be vetted & banned from interactions w/ gun lobbyists

A bipartisan agency would draft gun reform legislation to go to Congress/Senate or to be passed by Executive Order.

They'd also set up/maintain Federal data bases tracking gun sales & monitoring gun owners for Mental health &/or hate speech issues (working with law enforcement)

Law enforcement can help input how the laws need to be changed to ensure they can address the National Emergency of #WhiteSupremacistTerrorism

Constitutional Lawyers can help w/ the delicate balance between gun reform & still protecting free speech & the 2nd Amendment

An agency would be able to propose bi-partisan legislation that requires background checks, reporting to the Federal Database, outlawing assault rifles & more
And any politician not voting for recommended legislation would clearly be putting politics & 💰above the American people

Any States not participating in gun reform should be penalized by withholding State funding

Trump/GOP will enact something like this when pigs fly but its another reason we must #VoteBlueToEndThisNightmare

All Dem candidates must pledge now to do this in their first 100 days
