2/The parties are all falling into the @BorisJohnson trap. A GE beats his enemies when at their most divided, unlike a ref.
And why would the SNP want to save us? Get a GE when they can sweep all Scottish seats for @Indyref. Keeping the UK united in the EU is not what they want.

And why would sheepish Tories ditch their careers for a here today gone tomorrow GNU when a nationalist leader could keep them their seats and avoid a lifetime of their peers denouncing them as traitors for keeping us in the EU? Only the 10 or so who have nothing to lose might.

3/And do you really think @tom_watson and his 100 or so MP followers have the national interest at heart enough to split their party when - in their muddled heads - a Labour gvmt is just around the corner?

4/Even the @LibDems - yes, even the only hope - say no to a deal with @labour as they eye the chance to snaffle 30-50 Tory seats in a snap poll.

Because the problem is....

5/It's too much trouble for these parties to think big to save their country when electoral advantage looms. Even though they are being played for fools by ruthless operators with a clear agenda.
They are all the Catholic Centre Party facing their Enabling Act moment....

6/And they will flunk it. Because leaving the EU and threatening UK unity are nothing compared to the illusion of party power.

So down the rabbit hole they go, immune to the fact that they are all as complicit as @Nigel_Farage is in their country's decline and fall.
