@ewarren "We've exploited the largely black and brown women who care for our children enough. [In the wealth tax plan] we'll put federal money into early learning experiences for all babies—not just babies born into privilege—& will pay the people providing those services well." @ewarren

@ewarren When @ewarren came to the senate, she focused on funding for medical research —particularly on groups that don't often get studied, like women, people of color, and others.

@ewarren: "I strongly support medicare for all. And when I say for all, I mean for all. Healthcare is a basic human right."

@ewarren "We need to deal with the crisis at the border which by and large has been created by the Trump Administration...We need to be a country that lives our values every day and that means we do not take children away from their families." @ewarren

@ewarren "We need to close down for-profit detention centers. And we need to provide health care when people are here in the United States. That's our responsibility." @ewarren

@ewarren "Medicare for all is not about the relationship between the fed govt, state govt and private insurer. It's about the relationship between the fed govt and each and every person, and ensuring that everyone in this country gets access to the healthcare they need." @ewarren

@ewarren "We need an immigration system that focuses on the safety of the US & live our values every day. We do not make our country safer when we spend resources taking families apart, when we pick up people who pose no threat to anyone. When we destroy families, destroy lives." @ewarren

@ewarren "I think this is a fundamental moment in America and the kind of country we want to be. I believe we build the America of our best values when we pick up each other's fights and stay together...Immigration does not make our country weaker, it makes our country stronger." @ewarren
