I have a “why” question. Why East Jerusalem has to become capital of Palestine? PA wants it to become? Well, they also want Israel to stop existing and all Jews to be drowned in the sea (“from the river to the sea...”). Shall Israel appease these appetites too? If no why not? 2/
Because I don’t understand why Israel has to negotiate on East Jerusalem status when neither any Arab countries recognized Israel itself, yet alone it’s sovereignty over Jerusalem, even though Israel took over it in defensive war against Jordan in 1967, nor Palestinians 3/
themselves recognized Jerusalem as anything important to them until 1967, when Israel took control over it. Before it was a city in which they lived and cleansed all Jews from. Sorry, we have been in this position when Israel had no control over Jerusalem. Didn’t play well. 4/
Jews had no access to worship places, 34 of Jewish synagogues were exploded including the grand one - Hurva, entire Jewish quarter was bulldozered and leveled to the ground and Jewish sacred places were desecrated. So why suddenly “East Jerusalem” is supposed to become capital 5/
of a country that yet to appear and has similar claims to Jerusalem as Kuwait would have had? Israel is not barring Muslims to come and pray and Jerusalem since 1967 is opened to all religions and tourists. So spare me of this non-sense - I see no value in dividing Jerusalem. 6/6
