So I hope now that a pattern is emerging: Stone and Giuliani, and a whole mess of failed media wannabes as "helpers," were engaging in "disinformation laundering" for the Trump administration in order to smear people and distract the public using outlandish stories. It is the
opposite of, but shares the same mechanisms with, reputation laundering, which Giuliani was doing. All these people have been working together to just fling metaphorical shit all over the place to get away with corrupt nonsense, and it's all connected.
There's your conspiracy, right out in the open.
Last month, plus my pinned thread. Social media has superpowered this technique, which Stone has used to great effect for decades. Remember the "Brooks Brothers Riot"?
Here's how sites like Gateway Pundit are used as cover, and then "both-sides" reporting by more mainstream sites further normalizes the laundering
Roger Stone had a radio show. Where? This is a rhetorical question, by the way.
Not that Bannon is a trustworthy source, but he's probably going to try to save his own worthless ass. Another failed media guy, by the way. sun-sentinel.com/news/politics/…
But you see how he get treated as though he's legitimate by mainstream press? That's how disinformation gets laundered.
Then lunatics like Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham and that whole merry mess of propagandists start shrieking about "free speech" as they mouth vicious smears against individuals and vulnerable groups of people, like immigrants... and then the rest of the mainstream media bends
over backwards to show how broad-minded they are to entertain these people and their ideas, as though their vicious racism and xenophobia and authoritarianism can be attributed to mere political differences rather than loathsome agendas.
I hope this pattern I've been observing for a few years now is a little more clear today.

By the way, this "disinformation laundering" technique, especially paired with "firehosing," is well known; it's cheap and effective. It was used to great effect in one specific country in recent history to weaken its defenses. Can you guess which country? Can you?
btw here's a retrospective of the Brooks Brothers riot. Its anniversary is just a few days away
