The @ilo Bureau for Workers’ Activities’ report shows there is a strong connection b/w #access to decent work, #nondiscrimination and being protected by a trade union in #preventingviolence against women and men at work.

Resulted in increase in W's particip in union 2 negotiate for more inclusive workplace policies.
@ilo @ituc Similarly, an agreement was signed between the #Uganda Flower Exporters Association and the Uganda Horticultural and Allied Workers Union. It requires a sector-wide sexual harassment policy be put in place in companies with more than 25 workers.

@ilo @ituc On company policies, Unilever Tea in #Kenya did an indep review on #SGBV in plantation sector. Began training prog&built support networks 4 victims. Also, partnered w/ UNWomen, developed a human rights-based intervention across teasupply chain.
