The trick is to conjure up and employ as many resourceful keywords as possible to reveal an array of search results.

There are several other tools/techniques available, but for now, I think this much will suffice for media persons, incident trackers and law enforcement authorities to make us of and gain insights (including real-time).

It's useful to employ TweetDeck (tweetdeck[dot]twitter[dot]com) to setup different widgets each with different geocodes for real-time zonal monitoring.

The more generic your keywords, the more search results you'll get. Best not to pair two or more together as it'll display a limited set.
