@LindseyGrahamSC, @SenSasse, @SenRickScott and @SenatorTimScott object to expanded unemployment benefits provision.

@LindseyGrahamSC says nurses would rather go on unemployment than save lives during a pandemic because the unemployment provision "would incentivize" healthcare workers not to work because they would make more from the bill than their current pay rate

Dem @SenSanders threatens the bill himself if the 4 GOP Senators do not drop their objections to the unemployment provision

@SenSasse attaches amendment which would bar people from getting more from unemployment than they would have on the job. It requires 60 votes for that amendment to pass, and is likely to fail

@realDonaldTrump says he will sign the Senate #coronavirus stimulus package and urges House Democrats to vote in favor of rescue legislation

@SenatorTimScott makes the case for Sasse unemployment amendment in #coronavirus stimulus

@SenRickScott, the richest man holding office in the U.S. Senate:

"We shouldn’t create a system where Unemployment Insurance benefits are higher than a salary."

@SenSanders on GOP Senators opposing Unemployment Insurance provision which would give out-of-work Americans an extra $600 a week in addition to unemployment benefits for 4 months:
