It's important because it shows that the expectations of Americans on the provision of these services have changed. There is an opening here.

I'm not sure his people have the vision to do this because they are locked in by ethics violations and financial interests.

But politically -- there is a way to talk to conservative voters here that no one is capturing. /3
Most headlines these days ignore the core truth of most voters: people just want to live well and not worry so much. And if you talk to them that way, at a local level, there is always a way to find common ground. /4
