U.S. drone strikes in Yemen have killed at least 24 civilians so far this year, says @AP.

President Trump is ramping up the number of these remote strikes. His administration has carried out 176 since taking office nearly two years ago. Obama carried out 154 over eight years.
U.S. drone warfare in Yemen has killed at least 167 civilians since 2002, says @TBIJ.

This year, about 1/3 of those killed in drone strikes weren't the intended target. One killed an elderly man and his relative.

"We live in fear. Drones don’t leave the sky," his brother said.
Drone warfare is carried out remotely by pilots sometimes working 11 to 14-hour shifts in rooms walled off by computers. Whistleblowers allege they sometimes base their strikes off grainy digital imagery.
"I consider drones to be terror."
