3/ Now let's pick up the thread after Rosneft sale on Dec 7:
Dec. 12: Qatar’s Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, director of Qatar Investments, a $100 billion fund, confirmed that he met with Cohen at Trump Tower (and allegedly Flynn, too). Video shows Qatar’s Finance Minister Al Thani, too.

4/ According to a Kuwaiti source (so take it with a big grain of salt), Cohen asked Qatari officials for millions, but they claim to have turned them down. Al-Rumaihi later allegedly bragged about bribing Trump officials. See @JeremyStahl's piece: slate.com/news-and-polit…

5/ But here's a remarkable coincidence:
The Qatar fund, QIA, which Al-Rumaihi directs, made an announcement the very next day of a plan to invest in American infrastructure. Is this potentially part of a financial/quid pro quo agreement in the works?

6/ Dec.12: Ukrainian Artemenko (who worked with Cohen/Sater on lifting Russian sanctions) visited Qatar.
This is a pretty remarkable coincidence. It just happened to be four days after Qatar’s Rosneft purchase and same day as Al-Rumaihi’s visit to Cohen/Flynn at Trump Tower.

7/ Days after Rosneft sale to Qatar:
Dec 13: Kushner meets Sergey Gorkov, chair of Russia’s government-owned Vnesheconombank (Putin slush fund) & Putin’s close confidant.
Dec.14: Gorkov flies directly to Japan, where he is reported to have met with Putin.

8/ 12/28: Obama orders new Russian sanctions for election hacking and interference. Kislyak contacts Flynn.
12/29: According to Flynn’s plea, he calls a “senior official of the Presidential Transition Team” with other “senior members" of team at Mar-a-Lago. Likely Kushner.

9/ Flynn & this “senior official” agree that they don't want Russia to “escalate the situation.” Flynn calls Kislyak immediately and reports back to the senior official. @woodruffbets and @attackerman suggest it was Jared Kushner, and implicate Pence: thedailybeast.com/very-senior-tr…

Remarkable timing.
Jan. 4: According to @nytimes, Flynn tells McGahn he’s under FBI investigation. Flynn is still appointed NSA.
