AIPAC is literally a lobby that exists to protect Israel
It's not a Jewish lobbying group, it is expressly an Israel lobbying group
It is also racist and far right and doesn't reflect the views of most Jews in the US
It is antisemitic to conflate it with Jews, thx

While most American Jews right now are pro-Israel, it is nowhere near the top issue most care about
The current anti-BDS bills most definitely are being pushed by AIPAC coordinating with the Israeli government, a move that many Jewish groups here oppose

And while evangelicals are extremely pro-Israel, they support it blindly, meaning they aren't the ones writing the policy. Groups like AIPAC are, in coordination with the Israeli government.
It's very similar to the propaganda campaign South Africa did for apartheid

Like AIPAC and the rest of the Israeli lobby, the Pretoria lobby organized propaganda trips to South Africa for politicians and those in positions of power, took out biased ads, donated to politicians to keep the US pro-apartheid for decades

And while racism was/is alive and well and was a reason for the support of apartheid SA, the vast majority of Americans did not follow SA politics(or even know where it is on a map)
It is indisputable that the support came from the Pretoria lobby, PR firms and SA's gov't

Similarly, most Americans, including Jews, do not follow Middle East politics with any sort of seriousness and those that do often do so with absolute ignorance.
The policy is driven by the pro-Israel lobbies who do so on the behest of the Israeli government

This is antisemitism the same way opposing Pretoria was "anti-white"
it is bullshit pandering to white supremacy
