The American working class consensus is that everyone should have healthcare, that the rich should pay more taxes instead of us, that jobs should be created ending pollution, instead of creating it, and that free trade shouldn’t be a free ride for corporate flight from the USA.
I guess the @NYTimes forgot that #HillaryClinton lost #Michigan, #Ohio, and #Pennsylvania. The real American consensus is that the leaders the Times have chosen for us suck. nytimes.com/2019/03/09/us/…
The leading Democratic candidates have largely broken with consensus-driven politics and embraced progressive ideas on healthcare, taxes, the environment and Middle East policy.
