What is very strange is Trump's own current United States Secretary of Commerce, Wilbur Ross stated "that #Brexit is a God-given opportunity to steal trade from UK".
So brexit folk are demanding their exploitation - as oppossed to independence it wants subservience.

& wierdly the only explanation that makes any sense is brexiters favour the "reflected glory" of being subservient to English speaking americans - rather than sharing power with nonEnglish speaking Europeans.

I recognise this from history, where Serfs claimed greater joy in toiling as slaves for the local Lord - than in being free farmers but working with their fellows.
Deep down brexiters believe US is somehow reflected glory of England - even if they're now subservient to them.
