There was a short period when it was OK for Change UK to be a bit haphazard. It has long since ended. This kind of stuff just seems amateurish and petty. They need strong comms advice and if they’re already getting it then they need to sack whoever is giving it.
The debacle with logo and name was beyond amateurish. It was a confusing distraction. They need to convince people they aren’t just a few MPs with a hobby. Professionalism isn’t the same as ‘slick’ if that’s what they’re worried about. Perhaps no leader makes it more difficult
I like the idea of Change UK and some of the individuals - and I don’t think they should rush into detailed policies. But they need to show there is a point to them being separate from the Lib Dems
