Know an army of 2004 fans out there. They are hoping for a resurrection like 2004. Tough life being a faithful.

2004 was easy picking. 2019 seems to be a Royal pickling.
2004 had no counter narratives from the people. It was fought between politicians. 1/5 #Elections2019

Social media did not exist. No counter narratives. BJP ran history’s most boastful campaign. Two men, Advani&Mahajan thought they had won before it began. And, most importantly, media like NDTV were puppies. To them, PM was Pramod Mahajan. Barkha & Rajdeep were at PM’s feet. 2/5

The congress fought with its back to the wall. It was a spirited battle. The leader knew her weaknesses. She underplayed herself. Her political Hand was placed on he people’s conscience. She did not indulge in hyperbole. Spoke from a script with facts. Think of Rahul now. 3/5

This time, Congress acted like it had won before it began. Watch the Manifesto release & the body language of Rahul. Read tweets of the manifesto Chief Chidambaram. The whole exercise was a contrast to 2004. Their slogan on #Nyay was cocky & condescending. 4/5 #Elections2019

Lastly, Sonia never ran a personal campaign. Rahul’s entire politics was personal. Rahul was more like Advani in 2009. Modi did exactly what MMS did. HIT BACK HARD.

Lastly, it is not 2004. It is more 2009.
Praying won’t help.
Politics is the art of the possible.
Pragmatism and positive zeal will always prevail.
Congress had it in 2004.
It never found it in 2019.
Leadership counts.
Without the right Leader, you can never win elections.
